Zooey Claire Deschanel was born into a Hollywood family with a cinematographer father, an actress mother, and an older sister who is also an actress, Emily Deschanel. She was even noted to being school friends with Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Hudson at a Santa Monica school.
She first started to go into the direction of musical theater and even studied for nine months in an ivy league university but she dropped out to pursue an acting career. This started with a small guest role in Veronica’s Closet with her glamorous shoulder-length half-up hairstyle with a bun and a vintage look.
